HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

Wilkado Construction Works Limited places high value on compliance with the Health and Safety regulations of Ghana and the safety of our Employees. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work place for our Employees and have developed a comprehensive program for accident prevention. Systematic requirements and procedures have therefore been put in place as a way of ensuring that: the management, supervisors, and workers would follow their given responsibilities in ensuring that hazardous situations are eliminated or brought to the minimum level in any given working environment.

It is the basic safety policy of this company that no task is more important than the worker. It is our clear policy that no worker should flout any safety rule to put himself or herself and others at risk of injury or illness in order to get a job done.

Employees are required to comply with all company safety rules and are encouraged to actively participate in identifying the laid down procedures that will enhance a safer place to work.

Supervisors are responsible for the safety of their workforce and as a part of their daily duties must monitor the work place for any unsafe condition or unsafe action by the Employees and take prompt action to eliminate any hazard.

ELIMINATING WORK PLACE HAZARD
Wilkado Construction Works Ltd is committed to aggressively identifying hazardous conditions and practices which are likely to result in injury or illness to Employees and shall take prompt action to eliminate those hazardous conditions. In addition to reviewing injury records and investigating accidents and their causes, Management shall implement several methods of identifying hazardous conditions before they result in injury to workers. to eliminate or control any hazard that may be created as a result of the change.
